QUICK AND EASY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR EAB PUBLISHING
EAB Publishing seeks short stories and non-fiction of no more than 5000 words, mixed-media, and poetry for Midnight Circus. Each issue of Midnight Circus has a theme. Writers wishing to submit stories and/or poems must adhere to that theme if they wish EAB Publishing to take their submissions seriously.
EAB is currently closed to novel, novella, collected works, and chapbook submissions. We are open to artists interested in publishing graphic novels or submitting art for book covers for Midnight Circus. Artists interested in submitting a portfolio should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
EAB Publishing will not consider pornography or gratuitous violence. We’re not prudes. We understand sex happens and violence occurs in real life. Therefore, it may in your work, but there better be a damn good reason for it or chances are we will pass on your submission.

EAB Publishing only accepts .doc, .docx, .pdf, or .rtf submissions attached to emails.

EAB Publishing only accepts submissions formatted to our specifications. Please read carefully before submitting.
PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED WORK
EAB Publishing does accept previously published work but with extreme prejudice.
EAB Publishing does accept simultaneous submissions but beg you please to inform us if your simultaneously submitted work finds a different home while we are reviewing it.
EAB Publishing will review all submissions once the acceptance period closes. We will respond to all properly formatted submissions within 30 days following the acceptance period.
All published work will be featured in the seasonal issue of Midnight Circus. The author agrees that their work is original and properly cited. EAB Publishing does not currently pay royalties for publication in Midnight Circus but provides a free digital copy of the magazine in which the author is featured. The author retains the rights to their work, but agrees not to publish the work in another publication until one year after the issue is released.
